Individual and Group Sessions in English

An invitation to explore, express, and discover new possibilities through the creative process.

An Expressive and Intermodal Approach

Expressive Arts Therapy offers a way to explore our experiences beyond words, through visual arts, movement, music, writing, voice, and drama.

At the heart of this approach lies the creative process itself: an opportunity to engage our senses, emotions, imagination, and curiosity.

A sound may inspire a movement, a gesture may become a painting, an image may give rise to words. Each artistic language enriches the next, opening new ways of experiencing, perceiving, and making meaning.

The emphasis is not on producing a beautiful work of art, but on what unfolds through the experience of creating.

A Space for Exploration and Discovery

Within a supportive, respectful, and confidential therapeutic relationship, each person is invited to explore at their own pace.

Creative expression can offer a way to approach feelings, experiences, or situations that may be difficult to put into words.

Rather than interpreting someone's artwork for them, I accompany each person in discovering their own meanings, associations, and insights.

Through imagination, play, and artistic exploration, new perspectives may emerge, along with a greater awareness of personal resources and possibilities.

The Art of Making – Poiesis

In the expressive arts tradition, the concept of poiesis — the act of bringing something into being through making — holds a particular significance.

Creating is not simply about expressing what we already know or feel. It is also a way of discovering something that was not yet apparent.

By engaging with materials, movement, images, sounds, and words, we enter a dialogue with the creative process itself.

Sometimes, it is through the act of making that a new understanding begins to take shape.

Who Is Expressive Arts Therapy For?

Expressive Arts Therapy can support children, adolescents, and adults experiencing emotional difficulties, stress, burnout, grief, life transitions, or challenges in their personal and professional lives.

It can also offer an opportunity for self-exploration, reconnection with one's creativity, and the discovery of new ways of relating to oneself and others.

Sessions are available individually or in groups.

No artistic experience or ability is required.

There is no right or wrong way to create. What matters is the experience, not the artistic result.
